STAR Campus Welcomes
New
State-of-the-Art
College
of Health Sciences Building
The
University of Delaware's College of Health Sciences (Phase One of the
Health Sciences Complex Development) officially opened its doors in
early January of this year!
The Project involved over $23 million worth of construction activities,
including over 103,000 square feet of renovations and additions to the
North-End of the former Chrysler Administration facility, on UD's STAR
Campus.
The new, state-of-the-art building features cutting-edge laboratories
encompassing the latest in medical technology for advanced research in
health sciences, including:
- Biomechanics and Bioengineering Labs
- PT Motion Analysis Labs
- Wet Labs
- Clinical Examination Rooms
- An Anatomy Lab
- A Bone Density Suite
- A Robotics Fabrication Lab
From the start of the project through its completion, construction
activites were in full-throttle with Bancroft's Project Team managing
$2.2 MM worth of construction per month!
